Currently setting up pre-production and need some suggestions on the most widely used and reliable Sound Cards for recording.

I got a M-Audio Delta10 and im very happy with it,, it doesnt have ADAT. So if you want ADAT go for the MOTU

Hammerfall cards are the absolute best there is on a budget. Delve for info and ye shall find...

They offer a full range of products...

I never owned one so this is not a biased opinion..I've just heard them and worked with people who've owned them and as an ex computer/keyboard salesman with a very reputable music store chain I can tell you that this was the one we didn't have to try and sell.

correct: RME hammerfall DSP cards are really top-notch....convertors up there with apogee quality, super low latency drivers, and you can buy either a PCI or PCMCIA connector-card so you can use the same breakout box for both a laptop and a desktop PC...

Take a look at the DELTA cards (it'll depend on the amount of IN/OUTS you'll need.
