Keep looking on Ebay. It pops up from time to time.
Or if you want to have it on vinyl until you find the 12inch, try to get the LP "Positively 4th Street" on 4th & Broadway. It's a label compialtion taht also holds a cool remix of "Pull Up to the Bumper" and the vocal of Affinity.

Btw, when does the Tellé Compilation on vinyl come out?
And why am I unable to find a copy of Erot's "Two Songs For Annie" somewhere? I want it repressed. On Discfunction or as a Tellé 10inch. Now! :D

Peace,

Gerd

Thanks a lot for replies;

Drew-Deep-DJ: Your reply might sound like you are near a copy for sale. I must be straight I really don't know what I could offer. But as a guideline, this is what I paid for some wanted stuff last time I went to London:

Gwen Guthrie/Larry Levan - Padlock EP £15.00
David Joseph - You can't hide your love (levan voc + inst. on Mango) £10

What would you say about these prices?

I usually at first consider my love for the record in question, then the condition according to price.

And then; how many copies do exist of the Affinity 12"? What is "rare"?

Anyway I hope you got that record! I want it sooo bad!

And please say your price; don't be shy...

thanks again

Bjorn

GJ:

Thanks for hint; have seen Possetively 4th st. on Gemm, but as I don't have a credit card they wouldn't let me have it by paying w. money order or cheque :(

the 12" is of course the real deal with that dub!

As for Tellé Comp. on vinyl: t.t.t. (Things Take Time) ... It's very much due to problems with getting a consistent distribution for albums; as it's going to be a 3-piece album it's clearly harder to sell than those 500 ltd. 7-inches...

Erot's 12" I don't know how easy or hard it's to find nowadays. I will check my shelves for xtra copies of it; but I can't remember owning more than one promo of that one. I will call those two gentlemen in England responsible for putting it out, and maybe see if they don't have a spare copy lying around. I'll do my best.

Thanks

Bjorn

DJKlas:

Thanks for your appreciation!

btw where have you got hold of whatever you have from Tellé? Because of the distro-confusion it's not really easy to tell where it's available or not...

music & dancing = so much fun but
business & money = just plain boring

but that's how life works I guess; both sweet & smelly

keep on dancing.

cheers.

Bjorn haha...agreed.
I got them from Mikal and Ketil, alot of the titles like the ones I mentioned are impossible to get out here...

Your and your friends artistic output is GREATLY APPRECIATED graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Hey, DHP boardmember Walter Jones has a track that I think would be a great match for Telle, should I suggest that he send it to Mikal??

Peace & graemlins/respekt.gif

Bjorn Hey Björn,

thanks for trying to look out for me.
Here is a link to that sampler on ebay:

I also tried to check with a friend of mine for the 12inch, but haven't heard of him, yet.
Will keep you updated.

Peace,

Gerd

You mean Padlock? Well might be but after
thinking I had the luck couple of years ago in Amsterdam finding it, then realising it was a bootleg with t.e.r.r.i.b.l.e sound (and yes the typical photo-copied sleeve) I was more than happy to pick up this one when I last time visited London. A mighty favourite of mine.

cheers

No, I didn't mean "Padlock", I meant the 4th & Broadway on Ebay.

Yo BT,
If you haven't found it yet, I have 2 copies of the 12". I would be willing to part with one of them. My price is $20.00 and I can handle the shipping for free. Let me know if you feel me on this and we can conduct some business.
Peace Q :D

Chulo2737,

this sounds almost too good to be true!

i don't have any cards i'm afraid, guess a money

order should do the job. Please do mail me on

bjorn.torske@tellerecords.com

and we can sort out the details...

Respect,

Bjorn
