Last night we had the chance to see Afrika Bambataa spinnin' at the Spoon Factory party, on the west side of Rio de Janeiro.
He played from 3:20 to 4:30 am and blessed a 5000 peole crowd with an excelent selection of the old skool best. His major hit Planet Rock and an incredible Billie Jean remix were some of the special moments. Too bad that some dancers on the stage were dancing too close to the tables and the record was skipping all the time. But after 15 minutes people were removed from stage and the rest of the show was fine.
We all hope to have more international DJscoming down to Rio.
