Schmoozic is back at Lowdown for our first party of the year, and we're delighted to welcome Glyne Braithwaite as our guest for the evening. For those that don't know, Glyne has been part of the London club scene since 1991 when he began spinning at the early warehouse parties like Energy and Phantasy. Throughout the '90s he continued to play at London venues like The Wag Club, Lost and Planet Love, as well as hosting one of our favourite shows on legendary pirate radio station Girls FM.
Glyne is now resident at Hype at The End's AKA Bar, and his recent/forthcoming guest slots include City Loud, Lost and Rulin'. He also finds time to travel the world playing at clubs such as Back Door (Seattle), Scuba (San Francisco), The Orange Club (Hamburg), Garito Café (Mallorca) and Pravda (Switzerland) - as well as being one third of the team behind quality dance music promotion company Rude Awakening.
As someone pointed out on another board recently, "Glyne drops the bombs when he plays the soulful stuff" - so if you're in London don't miss this chance to catch him in action. I'd be delighted to offer any board members that want to come along half-price admission of 2 whole British pounds.
