Organic is proud to announce the return of Joaquin “joe” Claussell. We are very excited that he
continues to make time for the people, and places that inspire him the most, as he continues to feel
that Detroit is on the top of his list. For many of you, who’ve heard him in Detroit in years past or
during the times when he spun weekly at the awesome Body and Soul sessions in New York City, his
approach to music is obviously intertwined with his SPIRIT. For you others, who haven’t heard him
yet, this is a rare glimpse into one of Dance Music and underground culture’s leading luminaries.
Check it out!
please check out this extremely rare clip from joe (http://www.paxahau.com/events/2005/01_15_2005_monolake/sounds/claussell_excerpt.ram) - recorded at an organic event, 2003
http://www.paxahau.com/events/2005/01_15_2005_monolake/detroitluv/finis/monolake.jpg - live pa (Paxahau)
The complete new monolake live set for 2005 celebrates the dancefloor while continuing the tradition of state of the art sound research. The music is a preview of the upcoming album "polygon_cities", which will be released on monolake’s own label "imbalance computer music" in summer 2005. It is a dark, energetic, rhythmic world full of detail. The video for the new live show is generated in realtime. Its moving geometric shapes port minimalistic graphical ideas of the 1920s to 1950s into the present, interacting with the music with its own visual groove. This will be a first and historic Detroit appearance of his audio/video show...
http://www.paxahau.com/events/2005/01_15_2005_monolake/detroitluv/finis/huckaby.jpg - dj set (Organic)
DJ, Producer, Detroit Techno and House Legend. Huck is what Detroit myth and lore is built on. While his style is firmly rooted in deep house, those who know expect to hear more from this Detroit soldier. Mike has releases on Loveslap, Harmonie Park, Third Ear Recordings, Ferox, Cross Section and his own imprint Deep Transportation. When it comes to Detroit dance music (no matter how you define it), it doesn't get any better. DEEP.
Pheek - live pa (Paxahau)
Pheek has become a recognized name for minimal techno heads in the past few years. Since 1998, Jean-Patrice Rémillard has worked under the alias of Pheek to explore the realms of techno, house and IDM. Busy playing in festivals both in North America and overseas, he has built a name playing live and using strong improvisation techniques. His association with Epsilonlab allowed him to travel on 3 europeans tours and release 2 albums. Another Detroit first brought to you by paxahau.
