This week at DC Sanctuary: Tortured Soul, DJs Oji, Shadrach (Friday) & Juju (Saturday)
On Friday, September 26, Central Park Records recording artists Tortured Soul will join Resident DJs Oji &Shadrach at the DC Sanctuary for an incredible set of live soulful underground house music + live art.
You may recall the Brooklyn-based trio Tortured Soul (w/ Christian Urich on vocals and drums) made a cameo at the Sanctuary on a rainy springtime Wednesday night and won the crowd over with their flawless ability to recreate house music with a live band and vocals seamlessly mixing in and out of club DJ sets. Well, by popular demand we’re pleased to bring ‘em back for our Friday night edition…So get there early ‘cause you don’t wanna sleep on what will be a night to remember + Live art by Christopher Odunukwe.
Doors: 11 until 5 am
Members $9, non-members $10 B4 MIDNIGHT & $12 afterwards

On Saturday, September 27, DJs Jahsonic and Adrian Loving will launch their monthly edition of Juju, a new event that will feature deep house, African and Latin rhythms, classics, nu jazz, and even some old school. Live art by Chez. Calling-all-beatniks.
Doors: 11 pm until 5 am
