4.18.2003 | Open Door One Year Anniversary w. Sam "The Man" Burns
It's been a year since we had our first party at the 4th Estate. Although we've gone through some changes to grow into what we have today, one thing
has been constant over the past year: the support that each of you gives us directly or indirectly through coming out week after week, spreading the
word to friends, offering kind words of encouragement, or being there for us through it all. This Friday is for you, without each of you this party
wouldn't be possible and wouldn't be around a year later. In celebration, Open Door welcomes back DC legend, Sam "The Man" Burns. For the past twenty
years or so Sam has brought people together through the vibe of music. Sam was a resident at DC's Clubhouse, which paralleled New York's Paradise
Garage and Chicago's Warehouse. He has continued to keep the DC underground scene alive and pumping through his various residencies ranging from
Pollen to his current residency "The Underground Soul Solution" at Red. Get your dancing shoes on, rest up, and get ready to party this Friday to help
us celebrate this party that all of us have worked hard to build up over the past year.
