Please let us know what that song is that you IDd!!
The only song I knew was the sensuous black woman excerpt toward the end of the mix....
How is it that nobody knows these tracks? they have to be obscure euro-only releases...

www.sevcom.com (http://www.sevcom.com) to listen to all the album released by sevcom : unbelievable !!!!!!!!!!
There's a remix of "we have come to bless the house" in gigapus album. Not very good...
The album of this track is City slab horror.
Have fun my friends

Annoying isn't it.. i got a tape of his from 1988 and i know maybe half the tracks on it....and it was house / acid
ok...
i'm really not sure if it's better to keep a little mystery surrounding a nice set like that, it won't be the same once you got every tune you know! still, i can id a couple of the tunes on the Harvey sarcastic set
trk 9: john forde - don't you know who did it
trk 13: claudja barry - love for the sake of love
respect to harvey! i can't remember a mix causing this much reaction for a looong time

Honestly, most Harvey mixes cause this much reaction when people hear it.
I got one through a mutual friend recently that is an unofficial release, just a "hand out to friends mix", fucking unbelievable... been a fan for almost 10 years now.

could you clarify the track IDs above, like give artist/track name info if you have it? Also, who is John...?</font>[/QUOTE]And Klas... could you explain me who is Jack, you know, the guy who said "Let there be House", this guy is the one who can give us the power do do the snake, the wigly worm, the power to jack our bodies..?
See what I mean ?

idtm, Jack is the one with the power to bring nations and nations of jackers together :D
Ligament, John is a contributing member of this board, and actually I think he figured out all but one of the IDs I listed above.
Remember this is the Studymasters mix, Harvey has obviously put in the time. It would almost be too easy if the whole list was laid out for us.
I want to know too, that's why I have steped up my studies...Good job on that severed heads track idtm, I have a couple severed heads records that Serge reccomended and I would not have thought that there was a severed heads song on the mix.
Anyway, reading MK7's post it is ultimately true...I will get back with some of the specifics, unless John wants to :D

Sorry, the mix was given to me "in confidence".
I actually had a sick tape collection around 93 before I broke up with a super-psycho chick, lost a TON of exclusive shit!
That was before DJs went corporate...

This is indeed a great mix, and even as a dedicated obsessive/trainspotter I don't know much of what's on it - except for the track that comes in around 17:40 which is 'Transfer Station Blue' by Michael Shrieve, on Fortuna Records. Shows up on ebay a lot (which is where I got my copy...)

The Holger Czukay tracks are 'Hollywood symphony'(from 'Movies' lp) and also a tune from the following lp. sorry the name escapes me, but its on there!
Also, TRK 1 is: Walter Carlos - Sonic Seasonings LP (which Larry Levan used to play. The legendary thunderclap sequence)
TRK 2 is: The Beach Boys - Our Prayer (from '20/20' LP)
TRK 20 is: Hudson Ford - 95 in the shade
and.....
TRK 23 is: Roy Budd - Get Carter Soundtrack (Last trk on B side)
Happy hunting!!

has anyone else got that Harvey mix that came free with a London Express CD with the NME a coupla years back? only got about 7 tracks on it but is still real good, that add... record on Discfunction and Amagamation of sound were on it.
Bit of a departure from dull indie rock for the NME
