Wow, D'Vine is prety nice...

The party was incredible. Roomed filled to capacity, beautiful women of all colors, easy entry, a live band, live performance by Dana Divine, reasonably priced drinks, in Wicker Park, shit couldn't get too much better than that.

Thanks to Sheldon (owner) and Ron Troupe for letting us come down and grace his place. Many DHP heads seen: Big Pau; Y'all, Mack Williams, Jere McAllister, Tim McAllister (that song you made is BANGIN!!!), Cordell, Chas Matlock, and I'm sure there were others that I either didn't know or didn't recognize. Saw some old faces from the SIDECAR days (where y'all been?).

I played the rabbit and went on first after the band to warm the crowd up. Couldn't get too far into the record bag because of time constraints, but it was all good. Just trying to play some good music for the people to loosen up to. Ron followed with a classic set of most of the "30" we haev come to know by heart. Andre was his legendary self, giving a mixture of classics and new stuff (my teachings have finally paid off) and the crowd loved him for it. That's why he's Andre...

All in all, a great night in music.

Peace,
