Six Shot at Chicago Auto Parts Warehouse

CHICAGO - Six people were shot Wednesday at a warehouse, police said, and an official at the medical examiner's office said some of them were killed.
Authorities got a call about 8:45 a.m. that a person had been shot — possibly by a co-worker, Police Department spokesman Pat Camden said. He said police fired shots as they entered the building.
"I believe it is by a disgruntled employee," Camden said.
Camden said the gunman was among those shot.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said one of its investigators was en route to Windy City Core Supply Inc., an auto parts and supply store.
"We know there are multiple deaths involved," said an official in the office who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
All buildings within a block of the scene were evacuated.

"Time for this one to go home".

So sad. </font>[/QUOTE]i don't know about this. there isn't one simple answer or one particular source of blame. i think at this point, the nra is essential. i don't live in the states but our per capita rate of violence is equal to yours & we have much tougher gun laws.
taking away guns from ordinary law abiding ciizens will only create a broader underground network placing guns in the wrong hands thus creating a more vulnerable society & an increasingly brutal police state.

if people have beef they should settle it somehow, but for ****'s sake, don't kill each other.

Greetings in return David,
Far too many passive/agressive folks on the DHP. Openly joke about multiple homicides in the same hour they occur, but keep your mouth off 'dem DJs. graemlins/jpshakehead.gif

don't know where you live, but we already have an underground network that enables anyone to own a gun. according to today's reports, this guy should not have been able to acquire a gun through legal channels. but it's too easy to buio guns off the street.
peace,
manfred
