Come and join the Sankofa Dance Theatre as they present their harvest concert series.
This year's celebration will be featuring the works of three phenomenal companies. First on Friday November 23, 2007 at 8:00 PM The Sankofa Dance Theatre Dancers and Drummers will light up the stage with the sights and sounds of West Africa. Then on Saturday November 24, 2007 at 8:00 PM join Urbanfoli as they make there debut. Urbanfoli is a group of talented musicians using West African Percussion to bring out the songs that resonate in our souls. Following Urbanfoli will be the E=MC^2 Saturday Sessions with Guest DJ Mark Moultrie. Finally on Sunday November 25, 2007 at 3:00 PM come and experience Shange. This amazing group of women use modern dance to merge the past, present and future.
